A cat-like alien named Mumu arrives on Earth from a faraway universe and accidentally crashes his spaceship into the apartment of a university student named Sakurako Umeyashiki, who lives in Machida City, Tokyo. Mumu is now eager to learn about home appliance technology as a way to help revive his home planet’s civilization. As a result, Sakurako's everyday life is turned upside down by Mumu's quirky antics, leading to a series of hilarious events revolving around household gadgets.
