Nanatsu no Umi no Tiko

Nanami lost her mother early in life and now lives on the marine research vessel Peperonchino with her father, Scott, a marine biologist. They are accompanied by Tico, an orca who was rescued as a baby just before Nanami was born. Growing up together, they have formed a close bond and swim together every day.

Along with the rest of the crew, they travel the world in search of a legendary creature known as the Glowing Whale. However, they soon find themselves in conflict with the Gaiatron Corporation, which seeks a rare element called Tronthium that is connected to the Glowing Whale. Scott and his crew believe that human technological advancements should never come at the expense of other living beings. As a result, they are racing against time to find the Glowing Whale before the greedy corporation does.
