Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian
Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san
Alisa Mikhailovna Kujou is a silver-haired, half-Russian student at Seirei Private Academy. She's a top student, great at sports, and serves as the student council treasurer. Known by her knickname Alya, she sits next to Masachika Kuze, a laid-back otaku boy who often gets teased by her. Thinking he doesn't understand, Alya uses Russian words, often calling him things like "cute" and "cheater."
Masachika happens to understand Russian because of a childhood friend, but Alya doesn’t know this. She nervously says sweet things in Russian, not knowing Masachika is hiding his reactions.
Yuki Suou, Masachika's childhood friend, is actually his younger sister and a big anime fan. Alya mistakenly thinks they’re a couple because they’re so close. Masachika joins the student council as a clerk, invited by president Touya Kenzaki, and plans to run alongside Alya in the upcoming student council election against his sister Yuki, who’s leading.
Along with council members like vice-president Kayasaka Sarashina, who is dating Kenzaki, and Masha, Alya's older sister and secretary, Yuki's attendant Ayano Kimishima also joins as a clerk to help with the council's needs.
