In a world where people gain Skills from eating Skill Fruits, choosing wisely is crucial since you can only survive consuming one in your lifetime. Light and his friend Lena aspire to be adventurers. When they eat their Skill Fruits, Lena receives the legendary Sword Saint Skill, while Light gains the Fruitmaster Skill, allowing him to cultivate fruits more efficiently. With such different skills, their paths diverge. Light resigns himself to a life as a farmer, until he accidentally eats another Skill Fruit and uncovers the true potential of his Fruitmaster Skill: it gives him immunity to all poisons, even those in fruits. Realizing he’s now the only person in the world who can safely eat multiple Skill Fruits, Light starts seeking combat-related skills to reunite with Lena, who has already achieved S-rank adventurer status.
