On her way home from work, an office worker named Konoha Satou is killed by a truck and finds herself reincarnated in a world based on a novel she wrote during her teenage years. The self-insert novel, titled "The Dark History," is a fantasy adventure filled with love and magic, featuring a count's daughter named Konoha, who falls in love with her sister Iana's fiancé, Ginoford. In the story, Iana tries to assassinate Konoha but ultimately fails and meets her demise. However, instead of coming back as her self-insert character, Konoha discovers that she has been reincarnated as Iana instead. Eager to change the course of the novel and avoid the death flag, the new Iana must confront her old, cringeworthy teenage writings and create a new narrative where everyone can find happiness.
