Saito Hojo is the heir to the Hojo Group and is constantly at odds with his classmate, Akane Sakuramori. One day, Saito is unexpectedly called to a restaurant by his grandfather, where he coincidentally meets Akane, who has also been summoned by her grandmother. It turns out that their grandparents used to argue just like Saito and Akane do now, but despite eventually falling in love, they went their separate ways. Now, they hope to see their grandchildren fulfill the relationship they never had.
His grandfather also declares that if Saito refuses, he would not be able to inherit the Hojo Group. Reluctantly, they agreed to pursue this path to achieve their future dreams. Soon after, Saito and Akane were taken to a prepared house and instructed by his grandfather to live together. From that point on, they gradually began to bridge the gap between them, despite their frequent arguments.
