Shiki Ichinose is a rebellious teenager living with his adoptive father, Tsuyoshi. One day, a mysterious attacker confronts him and reveals the truth about his origins. Shiki discovers that he is a descendant of oni, and that Tsuyoshi was once part of the Momotarou Agency, a group that hunts oni, but he chose to abandon that life to raise Shiki. Having lived as an ordinary human until now, Shiki is bewildered and struggles to believe Tsuyoshi's words. After Tsuyoshi's death, Shiki finds himself caught in the ongoing conflict between the Oni and the Momotarou, determined to survive and seek revenge.
