The Cat and the Dragon
Neko to Ryuu
In a deep forest where demonic beasts roam, a fire dragon egg was laid. On top of this egg, a cat gave birth to her kittens and began raising them alongside the egg. Eventually, the dragon hatchling that emerged from the egg was welcomed by the cats as a slightly unusual sibling, soaring through the sky and breathing fire, becoming part of the family. The young dragon, affectionately named Nekoryuu by the cats, stayed close to them as a way to repay his mother's kindness, vowing to protect them. One day, when humans killed the cats for their fur, Nekoryuu sought revenge by eliminating the adventurers responsible. Although he initially felt he could never forgive humans for their actions, a fateful encounter changed his perspective, leading him to adopt a cat-like appearance to interact with them once again.
