Dead Account
What occurs to a person's social media account after they pass away? Does it simply vanish, or could something more sinister take place? Accounts of the deceased, or "Dead Accounts," are all around us.
In an attempt to fund his sister Akari's medical care, Soji Enishiro launched a clickbait channel to share controversial videos. Following his sister's death, he discovers that a malevolent spirit has assumed control of her online identity. As a result of confronting this imposter, Soji's cyber-kinetic powers emerge, and he starts working as an exorcist to seek vengeance for her. Despite his harsh online demeanor, Soji possesses a kind soul, using his abilities solely to combat ghosts in the digital realm.
At Miden Academy, he is joined by several companions, each with their own cyber-kinetic skills. These include Kukuru, who hails from a family of mediums and wields the ability known as Hammer of Justice; Kiyomi, a yandere and net stalker with the aggressive ability Love Revolver; and Renri, who also comes from a family of mediums but has yet to awaken his psychic powers.
