Dias was a man who, despite losing his parents at a young age, continued to bravely fight on the battlefield to help others. After achieving great success in the war against a neighboring country, he earned the title of Hero of the Nation. As a reward, the King granted him the frontier land of Netzloth. However, when he arrived, he found not a thriving territory, but an expansive grassland with no houses, no food, and not a single person in sight.

Feeling bewildered and unsure of how to survive, let alone fulfill his role as a lord, Dias meets Aruna, a girl from the Oni tribe who had lived in the land since long ago. Assigned by the tribe's chief to act as his caretaker, she begins living with him. Together, along with his former comrades and others who had heard of his reputation, he begins his journey as a lord to build his new village.
