Oni no Hanayome

Yuzu Shinonome is an ordinary high school student living in a world where yokai and humans coexist. She has faced constant mistreatment from her parents, while her younger sister, Karin, who has been chosen as a bride for a fox yokai, is doted upon. To make matters worse, her boyfriend Yamato breaks up with her, despite her being chosen as a bride, because he has also fallen for Karin.

After that, Karin asks Yuzu to lend her a dress that Yuzu received from their grandparents for her birthday, wanting to wear it on a date. When Yuzu refuses, it leads to a sisterly fight, tearing the dress in the process. Furious that his bride, Karin, has been hurt, the fox yokai Kozuki Yota bathes Yuzu in flames, leaving her with a burn on her hand. Feeling unloved and unwanted at home, Yuzu runs away in despair and unexpectedly encounters Kiryuuin Reiya, the future head of the Kiryuuin clan, one of the most powerful yokai. Reiya then tells her, "I've been looking forward to meeting you, my bride."
